Tanish Manku 982f3ad78d Moodboard: viewport state, recenter indicator, shortcut cheatsheet, canvas perf
Lifts `viewport` (zoom/pan) and `canvasSize` into the moodboard store so
overlays and a future minimap can read the camera without drilling refs.
Adds a recenter pill in the bottom-right that appears when nothing in the
current viewport intersects any content, and a translucent shortcut
cheatsheet that appears after holding Ctrl/Cmd alone for 3s.

New Figma-style shortcuts: V/L/T tool switches, Cmd/Ctrl+A select all,
Cmd/Ctrl+G group, Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+G ungroup, Shift+1 zoom-to-fit.

Consolidates all previously-duplicated rect / AABB / clamp / viewport math
into `layout/geometry.ts` (removes private copies from useSelection,
useViewportControls, MoodboardStore, and packCollage). Exports include
`computeContentBounds`, `computeVisibleRect`, `anyContentVisible`,
`fitViewportToBounds`, `panToCenterOn`, `ZOOM_MIN/MAX` — everything a
future minimap overlay will need.

Canvas perf pass:
- Level-of-detail dotted grid (doubles effective spacing as you zoom out
so dot count stays bounded; dot radius tracks screen pixels).
- React.memo on ImageNode, TextNode, GroupNode, MoodboardBackground.
- Stable onSelect contract (children receive (id, e) and call a single
parent callback, letting memo skip children on camera/selection-only
  renders).
- GroupNode subscribes only to its own children via useShallow, not the
  full nodes map.
- TextNode's editingTextId selector collapsed to a per-node boolean.
- MoodboardStage's transient subscription narrowed to {marquee, lassoPath}
so setIsPanning / setEditingText don't churn the whole Stage.
- visibleViewport memoized so marquee/lasso drags don't force the
  background sceneFunc to re-run.

ArtCraft

ArtCraft is the IDE for interactive AI image and video creation. We turn prompting into crafting, so your ideas become a form of tangible expression and computing. This is Adobe Photoshop for everyone, and we're giving away the source code!

Show, Don't Tell: Advanced Crafting Features

Text-to-image is great, but artists need control. It's important to know what your image will look like before you generate it, and it's vitally important to achieve consistency and repeatability.

Feature Demo + Explanation
Image to Location Video Placing virtual actors into physical environments establishes single-location consistency. You can film multiple shots within a room without having things disappear.
3D Image Compositing Video Use images (backdrops, foreground elements, props, etc.) in scenes with depth and blend them naturally together. Just a couple of images usually leads to great compositions.
2D Image Compositing Video Use images, background removal, layers, and simple drawing tools to precisely compose a scene.
Image to 3D Mesh Video It's almost impossible to lay out complicated objects or block complicated scenes; turning images into 3D helps position elements exactingly and intentionally.
Character Posing Video You can dynamically pose your characters to achieve the precise character, scene, and camera blocking before calling "action".
Scene Blocking w/ Kit Bashing Video Use 3D asset kits to precisely block out your scene: get the correct angles, object positions, and rich depth layering you can't with text prompting.
Character Identity Transfer Video Use mannequins as simple 3D ControlNets for posing any character.
Background Removal Video Remove backgrounds from images to make them useful in 2D or 3D compositing. They can be props, layers, or backdrops.
Mixed Asset Crafting Video You can use image cutouts, worlds, and simple 3D meshes all together to precisely and intentionally lay out your scenes.

Note: all of the above videos were generated for free with Grok Video; the cost to build this README was negligible.

Quick and Easy Prompting

We haven't abandoned text-to-asset generation for quick prototyping and ideation. We support every popular workflow in a first class fashion.
