A font with no readable OS/2 table doesn't say what its licence allows,
and reporting fsType 0 made it look installable. FontFace::fs_type() now
returns None for it, and font.list reports fsType and the five flags as
null. restricted_licence() and bitmap_only() still treat it as
unrestricted, so export behaviour doesn't change.

font.list now gives, for the face that sets the text, its raw OS/2 fsType
and what the bits mean: restrictedLicence, bitmapOnly, noSubsetting,
editable and previewPrint (null when the face is missing). A host that
makes print PDFs can then refuse a face whose licence doesn't allow the
export, including system fonts and the bundled fonts, without reading the
font files itself. PDF export subsets every font, so a caller needs
noSubsetting as well as the restricted and bitmap-only bits.
FontFace gains fs_type(); restricted_licence() and bitmap_only() read it.

My own previous commit introduced this: moving the bare "serif" needle
after the sans list to let "Microsoft Sans Serif" read as sans also let
"gothic" win in "Sweet Gothic Serif", a real serif family, which review
caught.
The rule is narrower than either ordering. A name holding "serif" is
serif, and that outranks the sans indicators; the only exception is the
phrase it ends: "sans serif" and "sans-serif" are the name of a sans
face. So the phrase is removed before the word is looked for, which
keeps both spellings sans and gives every explicitly serif name back.
Korean serif names stay ahead of all of it, so "Noto Sans Myungjo" and
"Myungjo Gothic" are unchanged.
Review pointed out that the CSS generic "sans-serif" matched the bare
"serif" needle first and classified as serif. The same ordering hit real
family names: "Microsoft Sans Serif", "MS Sans Serif" and "Lucida Sans
Serif" are sans faces that a Word import can name, and epub's own
generic_family already maps Microsoft Sans Serif to sans-serif.
So rather than special-casing the one hyphenated spelling, the bare
"serif" word now sorts after the sans needles. The Korean serif names
stay ahead of everything, which is what keeps "Noto Sans Myungjo" and
"Myungjo Gothic" serif; the test pins those two along with both "sans
serif" spellings.
Rebuilt on the split `fontdb/`: `KOREAN_SANS_FALLBACKS` and `sans_by_name` sit
in `fontdb/fallback.rs` beside `KOREAN_FALLBACKS`, `cjk_chain` takes the style,
`fallback_for_styled` is on both `ScopedFonts` and `FontDb`, and the tests live
in `fontdb/tests/fallback.rs` where that file's other fallback tests are.
`KOREAN_FALLBACKS` is serif-first (AppleMyungjo, Apple SD Gothic Neo, Batang,
Malgun Gothic...), so on Windows the first installed entry is Batang. A document
whose Korean text asks for faces that are not installed -- KoPub Dotum, KHNP
Han Dotum, BM Dohyeon -- came out in a serif face throughout: the report
measured 5,298 characters of one school document turning from sans to serif.
The font is not installed, so its name is all there is to go on. `sans_by_name`
reads the style out of the family name: Dotum (돋움), Gulim (굴림), Gothic
(고딕), Sans, Headline, Graphic and Dohyeon are sans; Batang (바탕),
Myungjo/Myeongjo (명조), Gungsuh (궁서) and Serif are serif. Serif is tested
first, so "Noto Serif KR" is not caught by the `sans` rule.
A run whose requested face is sans draws its fallback from the sans chain, which
leads with the system faces. If the requested name says neither, the
substitute's own name decides, which leaves today's chain in place.
The tests do not depend on which fonts the machine has: they pin the name
classification and the chain order -- the first sans entry comes before Batang,
and the serif chain still leads with a serif face, so a missing Myungjo is not
turned into a sans one.
`fallback_for` keeps its signature and delegates, so the ruby, kenten and image
callers are unchanged.
Pin the final egui, winit and shared UI revisions and reconcile current main.
Preserve document-epoch input and screenshot boundaries, host action ordering,
and Windows path regression coverage. Add click/End batch characterization.
Validation: all nine Linux CI stages pass (3230 tests, zero failures); Windows
CI and bounded native editing workflows pass on the same production source.

Fonts installed, edited or removed while the app runs needed a restart
(#328, #547). font.reload rescans the font folders, lets go of the shared
faces whose installed file changed (length or modification time) or is
gone, so the next lookup reads the file as it is now, and recomposes the
open documents with a new composition cache. It isn't an undo step.
Contextual alternates are part of how many Arabic fonts join (connecting
strokes, tatweel and letter variants). InDesign keeps them in Arabic text
when Contextual Alternates is off, so `calt` off is now dropped for
Arabic runs.
Conflicts and how each was resolved:
- crates/idml/src/import.rs: main's linked_assets and insert_asset kept; the
crop is read beside main's page (PDFAttribute as a child or a property), and
linked_assets is keyed by (path, page, PdfCrop) so two crops of one page are
two assets.
- crates/idml/src/export.rs: PDFAttribute with PageNumber, PDFCrop and
TransparentBackground is written for every placed PDF, replacing main's
page > 0 block.
- crates/idml/src/tests.rs: main's file plus the `$ID/` font tests.
- crates/engine/src/cmd/file.rs: main's exact PDF page size, place cursor and
add_asset kept; Crop to stores the choice on the asset (the graphic spans
the box), so the place cursor's frame crop box is gone.
- crates/engine/src/cmd/{book,interchange}.rs: main's confined and reporting
imports, with the PDF crops resolved after them.
- crates/engine/src/cmd/print.rs: main's print_with, exporting with the
measured PDF boxes.
- crates/engine/src/cmd/links.rs: main's text links plus pdfCrop.
- crates/engine/src/cmd/{datamerge/fill,mathexpr,media,table}.rs,
crates/format/src/lib.rs: main's add_asset with the asset defaults.
- crates/engine/src/cmd/package.rs, crates/engine/src/tests_idml.rs: both
sides' tests.
- crates/fonts/src/fontdb.rs: main's style traits, looked up through
plain_family.
- crates/render/src/lib.rs: pdf_crop_box replaces pdf_page_box; main's
UserUnit test checks pdf_crop_box.
- crates/ui-egui/src/dialogs.rs: main's dialog with the content-bounds crops.
Also: Asset::same_file compares the PDF crop, so placing or saving no longer
merges two crops of one page; Asset literals added on main take the defaults;
main's PageNumber test checks the crop and that page 1 is written; new tests
a_pdf_page_placed_with_two_crops_imports_as_two_assets and
pdf_assets_with_different_crops_stay_apart.
Montilla Design's Flex Layout file names its body face "Regular " (with a
trailing space, as the designer's copy of Articulat CF did). Face lookup
already ignores spacing and case, so the text is drawn in Regular, but
font.list (Find Font) compared names exactly and reported the style
missing. It now uses the lookup's comparison (designcraft_fonts::same_style).

A font whose fsType allows embedding bitmaps only (bit 9, 0x0200) was
packaged with its outlines; it is now refused like a restricted one.
char_css wrote font-weight: bold for any style containing "bold", so
Semibold showed as Bold and Light as Regular; it now writes the numeric
weight (100-900) and style from the face's style name. Same approach as
aiongg's integration branch (#259, 8f54d1cc), with his test.
A Typography panel (Window ▸ Show Panel, and the icon column) lists the
features of the selected text's fonts, merged over those fonts, grouped as
Ligatures, Alternates, Stylistic Sets (named by the font), Figure Style,
Figure Width, Figure Position and Capitals. A section or choice appears only
when a font offers it.
Each feature is a checkbox: checked when all of the selection has it, a dash
when only some of it does, empty when none does. A feature only some of the
selection's fonts offer is italic. Mutually exclusive choices are checkboxes
too, and choosing one turns the others off.
type.openTypeFeatures reports each feature's applied and available state over
the selection. type.feature turns features on or off across the selection,
keeping each run's other features. The fonts crate reads GSUB and GPOS
feature lists and stylistic set names.
The Character panel's OpenType menu is now a button that opens or focuses the
Typography panel.

Malayalam took the first installed file mapping it: on macOS Arial Unicode MS, which has no Malayalam shaping, so conjuncts like ക്ഷ fell apart. Fonts made for Malayalam are tried first, loaded on demand through the CJK chain lookup.
Rebased onto the atomic save work: book chapter replacement, canonicalize and
the writability probe, and every command write now check the roots before
they reach crate::atomic. IDML import no longer reads linked images itself
(the engine passes its checked reader), load_icc_file is gone (profiles
arrive as bytes), the script loader goes through the host reader, and
FontDb::load_document_fonts asks a caller-supplied check about the folder and
each font file, so a link that leads out of the read root is skipped.
ScopedFonts::family_kind reads a family's format, class, PANOSE and file
date from its Regular face. A loaded face is asked; an installed family
that isn't loaded is read from its file, which is let go afterwards,
instead of loading every family the font menu's filters look at for the
rest of the session. Files over MAX_DOCUMENT_FONT_BYTES are skipped.

Each face reports what InDesign's font menu shows and filters by, read
once from its tables: its format (TrueType, OpenType/CFF, variable,
colour), its class (serif, slab serif, sans serif, script, monospaced,
decorative, symbol) from PANOSE, else the OS/2 IBM family class, else
the family name, else the shape of its "l" (serifs widen the foot), its
PANOSE numbers (with a distance for similar fonts) and when its file
was added.
