AGENTS.md (and CLAUDE.md where present) gets a CI workflows section: workflows only call
craft-common-actions at @main, with no other jobs; feature and fix PRs don't touch CI and
link or open a craft-common-actions issue (a PR only for a small fix that is safe for
every app and does not increase CI time); legacy jobs
aren't added to and move only as their own task, staying until a shared workflow runs them.
windows-arm64.yml moves from its SHA pin to @main. The pinned revision is on
craft-common-actions main and the workflow (and the actions it calls) is identical
there, so nothing changes in behaviour.
Pin the final egui, winit and shared UI revisions and reconcile current main.
Preserve document-epoch input and screenshot boundaries, host action ordering,
and Windows path regression coverage. Add click/End batch characterization.
Validation: all nine Linux CI stages pass (3230 tests, zero failures); Windows
CI and bounded native editing workflows pass on the same production source.
* Links: use resolve_absolute for stored paths
* Links: check for a missing linked file with is_ok_and
* CI: release only with git dependencies from storytold
The winit patch from skylartaylor/winit at its pinned rev is the one other source allowed.
* Links: Relink to Folder only uses a name that stays a file name in the folder
* CI: the git-sources check reads Cargo.lock as TOML, needs it current and refuses config patches
* CI: the git-sources check parses .cargo/config and .cargo/config.toml for source replacement, patches and paths
* Links: rustfmt
* Links: Relink to Folder only takes a file directly in the chosen folder
* Links: Relink to Folder compares folders as the file system resolves them
* fonts: Georgian UI text from craft-fonts' Noto Sans Georgian
font_definitions registers the Geor face and appends it to every family, like
Arabic (and to the Arabic families after the CJK faces); the wasm filter in
crates/fonts/build.rs keeps the face. The installed-font probe for Geor stays
skipped whenever craft-fonts covers the script. Bump craft-fonts-ref to a71c20e
(storytold/craft-fonts#27).

* Release: build the web version with craft-fonts too (web-craft-fonts)
The shared release workflow builds the web release without CRAFT_FONTS_DIR unless web-craft-fonts
is set, so the web version would still have no Georgian face (CodeRabbit on vectorcraft#2934).

* test: the Arabic New Document test scrolls to Height like the other fields
With craft-fonts' Noto Sans Arabic (from a71c20e3) the rows above Height are taller, so at
392x271 the field starts partly below the dialog body's clip and the test's unscrolled
visible_label check failed (FreeBSD jobs). It stays reachable: scroll to it as the test
already does for Gutter and the margins.

* CI: same craft-fonts pin as release (a71c20e3), so the gate checks the Georgian face

ci.yml calls the shared workflow (cached apt packages, nextest, main-only cache saves, Cargo.lock check). FreeBSD and Windows ARM64 run nightly and on pushes to release instead of on pull requests. Depends on storytold/craft-common-actions#69.
Calls storytold/craft-common-actions/.github/workflows/sonarcloud.yml@main
with secrets: inherit. Adds SonarCloud badge to README where missing and
removes the redundant sonar-project.properties (config now passed by the
reusable workflow).
Only path-filtered workflows run on pull requests today, so most PRs land
without a test run. Port of the wordcraft#800 workflow: Linux, standard
GitHub-hosted runner, read-only token, no secrets, craft-fonts pinned to
the release.yml commit.

Since the release workflow moved to storytold/craft-common-actions, it has
passed only the Apple and WINDOWS_CERTIFICATE secrets. The signing job reads
values from the release environment, but only for names the caller lists, so
the AZURE_* names that Trusted Signing uses came through empty and Windows
builds would ship unsigned. Same fix as storytold/craft-launcher#174.

* ci: refactor workflows to use reusable artcraft-common-actions
* ci: point reusable workflows to storytold/craft-common-actions

* ci: use @main (unpinned) for craft-common-actions with explanation comment
- release.yml: new linux-riscv64 job (cross-compiled on ubuntu-24.04 against
ports.ubuntu.com riscv64 libs, tar.gz only, CLI smoke-tested under QEMU),
ported from GridCraft; the draft release job needs it, so SHA256SUMS covers it.
- packaging/linux/package.sh: CROSS_ARCH/CROSS_TARGET/CROSS_COMPILE/EMULATOR
support, as in GridCraft.
- cargo xtask version set 0.6.0; README, hardware parity and ROADMAP log note
the new platform.

- freebsd job: builds packaging/freebsd/package.sh in a FreeBSD 14.3 VM (same image and
packages as freebsd.yml) into designcraft-<ver>-freebsd-x86_64.tar.gz.
- flatpak jobs (x86_64 on ubuntu-24.04, aarch64 on ubuntu-24.04-arm): repackage the Linux
tarball with packaging/linux/flatpak-bundle.sh and a new bundle manifest; runtime and
finish-args shared with the from-source manifest (checked by packaging-lint).
- AppImages embed gh-releases-zsync update information and ship a .zsync beside them.
- version, linux, web, flatpak and freebsd no longer use the release environment (they read
no secrets), so a workflow_dispatch on a branch dry-runs them; the signing jobs and the
draft release stay environment-gated.
- nfpm package description described an image editor; now describes DesignCraft.
- README: Downloads section listing every build.

Custom macOS larger runners in a runner group do not pick up jobs; the
built-in M2 Pro label does. Only release.yml uses it, and the
actions_macos_xl budget caps the monthly spend.

The standard macOS runners are shared with all CI and queue for an hour or
more. The macos-release runner (GitHub-hosted M2 Pro) is in a runner group
usable only by release.yml on the release branch, with a monthly spend cap
on the actions_macos_xl SKU.

Shippori Mincho (8.7 MB) and its licence leave assets/fonts. Japanese fonts now
come from storytold/craft-fonts when built with CRAFT_FONTS_DIR (never a
Cargo.toml dependency): crates/fonts/build.rs embeds its manifest as
designcraft_fonts::CRAFT_FONTS. Native builds embed all four fonts; wasm32
embeds BIZ UDPGothic Regular only (web size budget).
- UI (egui): the Jpan faces at the end of every family, BIZ UDPGothic first
(Bold first in the semibold family).
- Documents: FontDb loads them after the bundled fonts, Mincho first, so they
are the Japanese fallback ahead of system fonts; SVG text gets them too.
- Vertical alternates test runs on every craft-fonts face and skips when
CRAFT_FONTS is empty; new UI no-tofu test and without-craft-fonts tests.
- FreeBSD CI tests with craft-fonts; release.yml builds every platform with
CRAFT_FONTS_DIR + CRAFT_FONTS_REQUIRED=1 at a pinned commit, packages carry
OFL-<family>.txt; NOTICE, ASSETS.md, AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md, README, ROADMAP.

Release builds add an arm64 MSI and portable zip, cross-compiled on the x64
runner (signing and WiX as for x64). package.ps1 checks each binary's PE
header before packaging: Machine must match -Arch, the app must be a GUI
program and the CLI a console program. It skips the CLI smoke run when an
ARM64 build can't run on the host. A new Windows ARM64 workflow packages the
ARM64 MSI, installs it on a Windows 11 ARM64 runner, checks both installed
exes are ARM64, runs the CLI, and uninstalls. Ported from printcraft#66.

The MSI Icon id had no .ico/.exe extension, which Windows Installer needs for
advertised shortcuts and ARPPRODUCTICON, so both showed a blank icon. Release
builds of the desktop app are now GUI-subsystem (no console window; the CLI stays
a console program), the shortcut/summary description names what DesignCraft does, and
packaging-lint rejects an Icon id without an extension. Found in printcraft#57.

A FreeBSD workflow builds and tests the workspace in a FreeBSD 14 VM
(vmactions/freebsd-vm) on pushes to main, dependency changes and on
demand. The X11 backend choice for file drag-and-drop covered only
Linux; FreeBSD desktops use the same X11/Wayland stack, so it now applies
to all(unix, not(macos)).
