component, an error is returned.
This is useful when using the <code>[first]</code> component, as it
avoids the need to reorder variants.</li>

The limitation crate is four years old, stuck at 0.1.1. It looks unlikey
to be updated by the maintainer.
Upgrades to chrono and other libraries have broken limitation, so we're
likely now on the hook for maintaining this.
